Archived Injury Reports - How do they affect leadership and the store?

I overheard an ETL tell a TM who injured her back that she would be subject to drug testing IF she sought treatment. This was before he asked how she was. It did appear to be intimidation to not pursue a Work Comp claim.

Basically had something similar told to me after a drawer fell on my head during a shift (because either flow team or a guest untaped the drawer and I was trying to get an end table down for a guest when the drawer fell out.) it was a “wtf” moment for sure. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t concussed, I wasn’t gonna try to sure Target for something beyond their control.

My reaction was to laugh at the ridiculousness of the situation. The guest was horrified, I just went “well that’s why there’s supposed to be tape there” and joked I’d be fine cause I have a thick skull.
