Archived Large VIBE cards??

Has anyone ever received large vibe card (Full sheet of paper) From a DTL or anyone else?

My STL gave me one sent from our DTL today and it felt pretty cool but I want to know how common they are. Anyone ever seen them?

At our store they used them for groups.
The entire BR team would get one for being green for X number of months, etc.
They would post them in the hall at TSC or some place prominent.
There was a general sense that most people would have preferred money.

So the general consensus is that they are a fairly big deal?

Yes and no. It's pretty cool to be recognized individually by somebody with several stores (and several hundred employees) under his/her belt; but it is just that, a recognition. They're saying "Hey, you're doing a great job, keep up the good work!" but it doesn't hold a ton of weight.. It's like dipping your toes into the ocean of store politics

At my store, they're generally used for whole-store recognition, either by a visitor from the hierarchy (district, group, regional) or a departing leader.

I preferred a verbal compliment and handshake from the DTL... They would have to put actual thought into it instead of personalizing a pre-made template that they pass out to the district admin.

Right before BTS, the ETLs basically wallpapered the break room with big vibe cards... Funny, everyone had the same "thank you for ____ it really helps our vibe!" They changed the font, but the sentence structure was the same. It was so thoughtless that words were inserted that didn't make sense. Like, 'thanks for always signing out equipment'. Ummm, that doesn't help vibe!
