Long story short I took a LOA due to a death in the family. My ETL hr guy asked me if I wanted to use my vacation hours now I said I'll just keep them. I never returned after my LOA expired I worked for target like five years, are they required to pay me for earned vacation hours even though I voluntarily quit?

Yup for anyone reading, through historical edits hr can sometimes apply vacation to past weeks before you quit but it has to be done BEFORE you are terminated.

Found this out the hard way, and my ETL-HR is a ditz so I won't get any unless I get sick for a couple days.
