I usually started my sentences with "You see that giant Pancake?", while I point to a CSE. I then inform them that is is 3 aisles before or after, or whatever. Those were the days you told guests the cereal would be in market, third aisle down, left side, middle section, top shelf (used as an example) .
aisle numbers have been around foreverI think pogs have been around since the 80s, if not earlier (meaning how the term was used). Before aisle numbers, they had to visualize what merchandise goes into which aisle.

Yes at target. Not at Target, no.
Please tell me how long. Not at Target, no.
We had no 4ft label holders. As there were no 4ft labels.
Fun stuff. Took foreverYou mean label strips. Yeah, before those you had to measure the shelf and put the each label in its right place. So, if a product is located at four inches, you put thelabel at the four inchmark.
Please tell me how long.
I don't know.. We built our new store about 15 years ago. I know i put all the location labels up. I pretty sure i had them up in the old location. Thought we had them the entire time, good lord is my mind going. I hope not.Around the turn of the century.
Ok guys pogs have been around forever. At least as long as I've been here over 30 years. They have changed alot over the years. Price change and signing as well. And guess what kids. Back in the "good ol days" signing was a team lead. We also had a team lead just for recovery. For those of who don't know what that is (zoning). We had a Team member whos job it was to just walk around the store and replace labels. We had no 4ft label holders. As there were no 4ft labels. We had no my device. No zebra. Very few pda's. You people have no idea how good you have it.
Oh... I agree, signing team lead was a sweet job. Best in the store. In my oppion. No wave though or pole..$till $weetAs Signing TM(more than likely soon to not exist), and not Signing TL, I'll remind you that, I don't have it as good as back then
