I've worked for Target for nearly six years now. When I started out I was part of ERT and now I'm softlines day side. The position I fill used to be referred to as a "specialist" and my area is in shoes. When I'm not setting end caps or step downs or doing the super zone or signing and displays (in shoes) then I'm out on the floor helping my TL's (I have two) get through POGs and VA's. I've learned to wear many hats since I started working at Target. I've been a zoner (hardlines and softlines), a cashier, and an operator and I've learned how to push CAFs, set the floor, and pull from the back room and even drag myself in at 3 or 4 a.m. for ad set up. I love the challenge in my new role and every day is some new insanity to puzzle through. Yes, it's crazy at times but never boring...
