Everyone overreacts to every new person of leadership. When I became GSA I had attitude problems from a lot of people, and people complaining about me, etc. and I was only a TM.

I have to disagree. There have been others promoted and they are still likeable and work well with others. I have no problem with this lady being in a higher position. More power to her. She just lacks good management skills.

My ctl loves to call me out personally even if I have temperature sensitive push on the floor...."you've got 30 min" The one day I told him I was already 20 into that and I could push it out back first or he could do without me for another ten minutes while I finished....

HAHA...this has happened so many times when they call for backup cashier...I have brought out like 160 gallons of milk out to the floor to push and halfway through they tell me to jump on a checklane..um..hello.

1. They harp on leaving vehicles unattended for safety reasons yet its perfectly ok to abanadon it now
2. It needs to all be pushed out in the next X minutes or else I have to bring it back to the backroom, retemp it and push it back out again thus wasting even more of my time.

I have responsed several times with....If you want me to come up I have to put this pull back into the backroom and then I will be up, if you REALLY need me....NOTE: Our Pfresh backroom is on the opposite corner of the checklanes so almost the furthest possible point and Pfresh itself is on the opposite end of the checklanes towards the front of the store.

The new ones are always extra enthusiastic, sometimes not realizing it, even though they are very annoying. I swear there is some rah rah cheerleader training they have to go to. I want to say something to them all the time, but I wait. I usually say something quietly when no one is around - Like the one the other day who came to see how many red cards we had. I said - 3 just like we had 3 hours ago.. he started to get in a tizzy -oh oh, we need more, do your cashiers know how to ask? I said no - why don't you go up to each one and show them how to ask. explain to them what to say, because well Jane there usually gets 3-4 a day, so I'm sure she could use your help on verbalizing. - and Sue, well do you know that she got 11 in one day not to long ago - I'm sure she could use your help. He walked away but not before saying but I want to get them on my shift... I said, sometimes we don't get what we want - we get what we need - sadly he didn't even get the reference to the song...I hate working with babies.
They are so starry-eyed when they start. Makes me want to puke.

Ours is the same, although our backroom is smack in the middle of the backroom. Lots of trips I walk up from the back just to be told "looks like we can handle it thanks for responding" argh.
