At my store, cashing is the very first thing anyone learns, because then you're available to backup cash. The only exception to this is flow and backroom TMs, who usually never learn to cash at all.

Unless it's Black Friday! Then you have to staff the store for 27 hours straight (and need lots of cashiers).
Actually our flow TMs have been getting trained on the lanes during their orientation shift.

well what happens when i hit 90 days do they watch to see how you preform your tasks????
Once you are past 90 days you will have a "90 day review" where your team leader will pull you into an office and speak with you about your strengths, weaknesses, and anything you may need to work on to become an amazing team member.

You call the main number to call out - You will probably have to talk to the LOD, unless they just want the person in TSC to take your info. - Always ask for the person's name who you are speaking with, sometimes they forget to tell TSC about your call out, sometimes TSC forgets to write it down. If you don't call you are considered a no call/no show. Too many of them and you will no longer have a job. Don't make a habit of calling out. Every time someone calls out it throws everything off. They have to get someone to cover you, they have to make sure someone else isn't going over their max hours, or they don't find a replacement for you for the day which makes more work for the other people in the department. Just makes more work for everyone all around when people call out.
