Without the team it's scary just how bad this will effect shrinkage. I have to keep asking about stuff that gets dumped in my area was it salvaged out or not. Making sure Guest service using the my device and not scanning it using the register. The Executives can wave their bonus check Bye Bye Bye. There is so many price changes that are not getting done.

But Target pays you more so you should be able to get it all done. o_O

I keep watching for things to get marked down to 70 cuz I would buy it, but they keep going 50 straight to salvage.

What do you mean no more price change team? That each area is responsible for their own pricing (ala End to End?)

Yes.. They are gone so you have the softlines peeps who let over 50 carts of unsorted reshop build up and 10 pallets of push off the truck up in the steel do the price change with all the time they have.. And we won't even talk about the backstock that wasn't touched for over a month..

Our backroom is basically where softlines items go to die now since pricing never bothers to check for clearance there and softlines never bothers to repush anything they backstocked.

The sporting goods aisle in the backroom at my store is like home to 20 carts of softlines, and then where we back stock Luggage, HIPA, Seasonal 1 - 3 is home to price change, and there is so much stuff back there that you can't even walk near those stock areas without tripping on something or walking over 5 pallets...

Our HCDY aisle has 8 z racks of discontinued/salvage Fan Central and winter clothing that just sits around for some reason.

Oh I forgot about those, there are two aisles in the backroom that have empty zracks/the mini racks with the baskets on the bottom of them.... One of them is the shoes aisle I believe. So annoying when you are doing SFS and have to pull all of them out so that you get an item that requires the ladder or have to get down the aisle to scan it with the zebra because of the unlocated hanging clothing that's down those aisles.

I just cancel it. I'm not climbing over all that shit to get a $5 t shirt.

This we have so many pallets in the steel of unworked softlines, if I can't find one on the floor even the wrong size to tell me its out here, I just kill it. 30 item batch ten items INF'd cause they are probably in the steel.. Some of those pallets we know are clearance now and quickly going to go straight salvage..

What’s up with this ??

We have noticed that too.. So I just buy it at %50..
I noticed they did that with the 4th of July dollar spot. I wanted to get some novelties at least at 70% but I don't think it got there and was salvaged out. Same with a twin pack of Old Spice body wash. Thought it was going to drop but it was at 50% for weeks and then salvage. I only buy things when they are clearance. Now I know to get them at 50%.

I wouldn't either. And if I did it's not worth falling off the ladder. Like, lazy bastard quit being so lazy and get your $5 tshirt yourself! I'm not going to go to the hospital for getting your tshirt.

In their defense, they don't KNOW what we have to go through to get their stuff to them. How could they, anyway?
Still sucks though.
