Answered Non Cashier employees, how often do you get scheduled to me on a register?

I just got hired as a general merchandise expert and I am scheduled to work 2 shifts on the register. I am a little bummed out since I did not want to be a cashier. How many days do you get scheduled as a cashier? Or did they do that at the beginning just so you get trained for backup??

Trained, used to get scheduled when I started but I have resting ..... face so now I get 0 cashiering shifts.

Once in a great while a sales floor TM gets a cashier shift at my store.

A lot of stores want new TMs to be cashier trained in case of backups or cashier shortage. I doubt you will be scheduled on a reqular basis. Besides its hours.
