Paid LOA for sick spouse

Have anyone taken a LOA to care for a sick spouse? If so are you eligible to be paid?

Family Medical Leave is unpaid. You can use your vacation pay, though.

Some leaves are paid to care for a sick family member. Contact leave and disability and they will be able to determine eligibility.

I think it depends on the laws in the state where you work. Some states require employers to allow employees to use any available paid leave including personal sick leave if the employee has it to use to care for a sick family member.
