For almost a week now our PDA's have slowly started to die. The screen keeps flashing the boot screen and then to a white screen and then back to the boot screen. It doesnt go anywhere from there even if you keep rebooting it. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix? We are down to our last 3 PDA's.

Has anyone called CSC or help desk. I can't remember which one. But our store wasn't having that issue last time I worked.

I believe our ETL OPS called and we got them sent out but I hear it takes 3 weeks for them to come back. We have 2 that failed yesterday and I'd like to attempt and fix it before we send those two out.

How do you cold boot? I've only tried holding the power button for 3 or so seconds.

If it's s 9090 or 9200, partially eject the battery, then hold the trigger and power button at the same time then let go and push the battery back in until you see '}}}' again. You have successfully cold booted your PDA. To see what model you have I belive its on the first screen where it says Store Applications and Device Troubleshooting. It should say 90-- and whatever model it is at top right. Of course the 9200s should say 'MC9200' where our Spot's logo is on the top keyboard scanner button.

Not an issue with our PDAs here (here, we have other issues, our PDAs' WiFi dies when you switch batteries and we have to reboot, sometimes several times).

Tell your STL, hell tell as many ETLs has possible in case some idiot tries to blame you for stuff not getting done.

We have that same issue with the PDA as well(even under safe battery swap mode).
I'm the Backroom Lead and have noticed how works not getting done as fast with My Devices. Our STL is aware of the issue.

They are slow as a sloth. You work at their pace, PDA's work at your pace. Huge loss of productivity.
