I injured myself at work while lifting something. My back felt a little weird, but I was not in pain. I didn't think anything of it so I didn't file an incident report. I woke up the next morning, and I could not walk properly. The thing is, it's been a couple of days since the incident. Is it too late to file a report?

Talk to your HR or an ETL, you may still be able to. Best practice is to file an incident report as soon as it happens so there is a paper trail.

It's definitely not too late. Go ahead and report it. When they ask why you waited, tell them (include this in your statement) that you didn't feel much pain at first, and you didn't realize how badly you were injured until the next morning when you could barely walk.

As everybody said go in and file.
Get some treatment too, that kind of back injury can be crippling, I speak from experience.

If you don't work today go in and fill one out. The sooner the better.

Or if you do work. Time filling out an incident report should be paid time, so whichever lead helps you fill it out (they'll do it on workbench and you'll dictate to them) should have you do a punch correction or override you to punch in. This was my experience when I filled one out after I had clocked out from an 8 hour shift when I hurt myself on the job.
