Today I work 5 hours and 30 mins, how would I go about asking if I can leave 30 mins early for something personal

You ask your leader, or the leader formerly know as LOD. If you seem sympathetic enough they will say okay.

If you are in a 5th hour meal period store, make sure you punch out before you hit your 5th or you have to take a lunch.

If you ask right away at the start of your shift, you should be fine. Unless your LOD/TL/Whoever is an asshole.

I don't think any of the leaders at my store would have an issue with it, as long as you didn't make a habit of it.

I know im late to this but i usually use the pitch to my TL or etl that I would rather leave 5 mins early and get more dont than easte 30mins and not fi iah anything. It usually works as long as we are staffed
