We love breaking out in backroom. It's tight but it's more relaxed because leadership isn't freaking out about getting off the floor plus we don't have pull everything back. SL team comes in at 8 and works whatever task needs to done. Breakout is usually completed by 9:45.

The steel is where things go to be forgotten, except transition pallets. Everything else will be forgotten. Our soft lines just stays on the line until it gets pushed or it gets shoved down their aisle in the back room with their metro carts.

When we have transition casepacks put up in the steel, we will scan in a few items (but not everything) into the location where the pallet is placed. We don't lose anything anymore.

That's smart. They just label ours and kinda know it's there. We have no problem with transition pallets. I'm talking about putting pallets up there just for the sake of wanting to get rid of them or not knowing what to do with them.
