@Captain Orca Looks like you really tikked the tokkers off with your comment. But I bet you expected that.
Only if it is damaged through normal use and has been properly taken care of. You also have to prove you purchased it from the official store or a verified vendor and have to offer proof it was damaged when used as intended, not from an accident or misuse. The warranty also is only active for 'the life of the product', which is rather vague. Also, one of my co-workers at my other job said that Stanley will replace your worn out, dinged up, cup for free, if you contact them.
Years ago Sears bragged that they would replace any broken Craftsmen tool without a receipt.Only if it is damaged through normal use and has been properly taken care of. The ratchets were refurbished but all other hand tools were taken right off the salesfloor, brand new. I believe it was stated in the policy that the ratchets were refurbished, plus if they didn't have the right one the customer could get a new one.Years ago Sears bragged that they would replace any broken Craftsmen tool without a receipt.
The thing is that the replacement wasn't necessarily new.
Yes it did happen.Anyone else hear about the woman in California arrested, she had 65 stolen Stanley’s in her car.
The estimate in the article is a little low, the value is actually nearly $3000. And some people actually spend that much on these things believe it or not.Yes it did happen.

Someone on Mercari is selling the Starbucks ones for almost a grand a pop, "or best offer", lol. Tons of comments under the listing removed. The estimate in the article is a little low, the value is actually nearly $3000. And some people actually spend that much on these things believe it or not.
Pro-TMs or pro-firing?Came across this article on FB.
Target Employees Are Reportedly Being Fired for Buying Limited-Edition Stanley Cups
Some Target employees have reportedly been fired for purchasing a highly sought-after, limited-edition Stanley cup because it violated company policy, according to Business Insider.nowthisnews.com
The comments are ridiculous.
I had store leadership that set groundrules like -Pro-TMs or pro-firing?
It's hard to have sympathy for those that got fired, as they really should know the policy. That being said, it would be a good idea for Target to require leaders to remind TMs of the policy regarding highly sought-after merchandise.
They use lead to manufacture them, Stanley just confirmed this. What are you talking about, lead? as in Pb.? Stainless steel contains no lead.
