What would the ETLS do...if every team member just walked out all at one time on black friday? .right when the doors opened? lol
Corporate wants time with their family. Lol that won't happen lolIf this happened at a Super Target, the store would probably just close. That's a lot of heads to replace short notice.
Granted if it happened in MN they would probably have corporate employees start manning the store as well.
That's what the air traffic controllers thought back in the '80s....Company wide walkout on black friday...every store...in the company. They can't fire everyone.

I would expect criminal charges to be filed against the organizers of the walkout.
I would love to see this happen somewhere. Workers these days as a group are either too stupid or too cowardly to stand up for their rights. We need to have a worker's rights revolution in this country and the way for that to start is with labor strikes and work stoppages. Imagine if every single team member showed up for a Black Friday open and just refused to work. Ever since Reagan murdered this country's unions the middle class has started to vanish along with benefits and pensions. It's a sad state that we live in.

I don't know the law but gross negligence, disregard for public safety, willfully creating a dangerous situation. I'd compare it to screaming fire in a theater.I would expect criminal charges to be filed against the organizers of the walkout.
Uhh, what charges? Theft is illegal, but the people organizing the walkout wouldn't have organized the theft, that'd be the guests. They'd have fucked Target out of massive amounts of money, but they wouldn't have broken any laws. Going on strike is certainly not illegal.

I could imagine the AP ETL or even an APTL would have certain legally binding requirements before they quit, they may have them as registered security agents at a store. Bad security guards can be held liable for property damage if it is believed that they intentionally ignored potential damage. As for just your regular run of the mill TMs and hourly TLs, NLRB regulations at the very least allow all workers the ability to strike, even if they live in right to work states. If you and your coworkers claimed that you were walking off the job in an attempt to get more pay, then you'd probably have solid legal protection. If a group of adults....decide to walk off of a job...I don't see how that could possibly be against the law. The people who walk off of the job are not responsible for the actions of other adults. Now, if on the way out...all the team members shouted....steal what you want...we don't care, then I could see your point . We all have the freedom to walk off the job... Grant it being I seriously doubt that a whole store would walk out anyways...we are not a hospital, saving lifes etc...we are selling toilet paper etc.
