I'm on vacation and just saw the recall on the news. How big is this recall? I can just picture my store just pulling everything and not keeping the different brands separated.
The recall alert will come with a dpci. Pretty hard to mess up.I'm on vacation and just saw the recall on the news. How big is this recall? I can just picture my store just pulling everything and not keeping the different brands separated.

Noooo… give it to the receiver who can make a label for it.How do you process recall items? I was always told just to give it to guest service.
You don’t make labels for recalls , you ship it and it prints a “invoice” then ship thru crc, esim , salvage or toss .Noooo… give it to the receiver who can make a label for it.
Cool... And how it's handled at my sore: It's ignored until I return to work. Which in this instance was two days since I was out for a medical procedure. If any turn up with the POS tag they show up in any of my CRC/Salvage boxes which I have to go through everyday since GS doesn't know these are different things... Please, kill me now, the stupidity hurtsWhat usually happens in my store: guest tries to buy item, the POS prints out a RECALL slip and guest can't buy item. GS gets item and tells the appropriate department to pull product. That department then handles it. If the recalls come to GS, we have a special recall bin that we throw them into and take to receiver later on.
This is what I'm expecting when I return from vacation.Cool... And how it's handled at my sore: It's ignored until I return to work. Glad to see I'm not the only redheaded step-child. It wasnt too bad, and since I'm not allowed to scan Pull and Holds into location it will sit in the steel for years....This is what I'm expecting when I return from vacation.

Yep, I just go through every single box and find the strays, they still cant figure out why I get 4 hours everyweek when I'm only scheduled for 32... maybe the next manager will have a clue, but I doubt it....A battle I have decided not to fight. I am waging war with GS and ESIM.. CRC and Salvage if they screw it up, it's on them.
@lucidtm I keep a pallet in the steel above my desk with all the holds, actually two right now since all those camp chairs are on hold.
Are your GSTMs blind? The sticker literally tells us where to put it that’s insane. Like everyone makes a mistake now and then but they should not consistently be messing it upA battle I have decided not to fight. I am waging war with GS and ESIM.. CRC and Salvage if they screw it up, it's on them.
If you are the receiver then it would be on you. You are responsible for esim log .A battle I have decided not to fight. I am waging war with GS and ESIM.. CRC and Salvage if they screw it up, it's on them.
