Target Zebra phone

How do I transfer a call from one department to another using the Target Zebra phone when logged in?
 
type 2180.
press Transfer button.
Say over the walkie "XX, you have a call holding on 2280"

I alway wondered why it's 2180 and not 2280 when transferring. If I want to transfer to 2281 I type 2181?
 
If you know the extension you can dial that extension and hit complete transfer to get it directly to that area. IE optical is 3901.
