The instructions on how to acknowledge the training on Workday was longer than the training itself at my store. Like 2 minutes tops.
Yesterday, I got called back to the HR office because in her infinitesimal wisdom, she forgot to have us record on Workbench that we sat through the training. The instructions on how to acknowledge the training on Workday was longer than the training itself at my store. Like 2 minutes tops.
Our training was just acknowledging on workbench that we did it. That's it.
Felt like I was in middle school again.
Wait, they didn't even read the spiel to you? I was quickly read the short version of scenarios. It was slightly longer that saying I did the training on Workday.
NOT speaking English has become a SERIOUS problem in our store. Looking at the grid for GM today: 11 tm on the hardline salesfloor - 4 of them speak English - the other 7 are excused from answering the phone, back-up cashiering and need to go get one one the 4 that are not on the phone or back-up cashiering to help each guest they encounter. The 7 don’t even say ‘hi’ to guests. What happened to core roles to do the job ?
