Your HR hasn’t submitted it yet. It’s instant in your inbox when they do. Just bug them again
Hr should of done it by now.Yeah, I will, but fuck. I shouldn't have to. I did the needful. I shouldn't have to keep pestering and pestering and pestering...
Did you do them at home and do punch corrections later? When I did the ODTM trainings (after being GM for 4+ years) it was on-boarding for new TMs and each one took for fucking ever. I refused to do the 3+ hour cashier one because a) 3+ hours b) i hate cashiering c) that's just stupid.Went in this week and sat there while the HR ETL resubmitted the request so I was able to accept the transfer.
Now I get to call next week, when the ODTM trainings drop in, to schedule a couple hours just to do training. I wonder if I can talk them into letting me do them at home and send in my start & end for punch corrections.
A 3 hour cashier training would only take me 30 to 45 minutes max. I don’t read every single thing, I skip whatever I can.Did you do them at home and do punch corrections later? Meanwhile -- I pick up one or two shifts (of GM only) every six weeks. Now I'm told I have training 'overdue' and I want to do it at home but know they will say OH NO YOU CANT DO THAT!!!!! so I just don't do it.
I haven't yet bothered to call about it, but I should probably do that soon. I'll let the thread know if I talk them into it. Hoping "I don't want to catch COVID spending a couple hours in the little training room" will provide a sufficient excuse, but we shall see.Did you do them at home and do punch corrections later? My question would be can you go on demand and then transfer? I know you need leadership permission to go on demand, you might need permission from the store your transferring to.There was an interesting question that arose at our store: Is it better for college students to go on demand and then transfer to a store where they attend school or better for them to transfer and then go on demand?
I haven't been a college student for many, many years! lol Just wondering what the answer to the question is.My question would be can you go on demand and then transfer? I know you need leadership permission to go on demand, you might need permission from the store your transferring to.
It technically always has from a policy standpoint but it's actually 6mo I believe in the system to accommodate edu/college kidsHas anyone else heard about changes to ODTM requiring a shift every 6 weeks?
Yea that's how my experiences have been. Once i got told to fill the battery end caps that hadnt been filled since my last odtm shift months back lol. Fixed up the whole store in like 3/4hrs.Did a shift tonight. Realized just how much I did not miss it. Any of it. Except the TLs, who I like.
Our domestics priority pull had 382 items on it. We did not zone tonight, but did knock out the home pull and chiseled away at a good bit of the domestics pull. One guest said it looked like our store had been pillaged, domestics was so empty.
ODTMs will no longer accrue vacation pay (but may use any accrued hours until balance reaches zero).Does going On Demand keep your years of service in tact if you ever re-activate to normal status?
Specifically wondering about vacation accrual.
