To that one Team Member - II

TTOETL who sent me to DU when we were OUT of working devices, why did you send me to DU to help? I told you I didn’t have a working device. I couldn’t be of any help. I told you that and you still sent me anyway the threatened to give me a CA for not helping. Thankfully HR ETL and SD knew I didn’t have a device and we had none to grab and denied it.

This was Christmas Eve

TYOTM (at another store) who wouldn’t let me pay cash because you only had SCO opened I did tell my SD and your SD on your ass. When I work SCO and we don’t have a cashier (rare because we now absolutely need one) I make them scan everything then I suspend it and pay at the nearest register. It takes less than 60s if they have their money out.

I was in line and called the SD of the store I was in (workday had their number) and texted them. It got their attention and an apology for me because this shouldn’t have even happened

They didn't have a Guest Service register open? What about if a guest wanted to return something and didn't pay by card in the first place?

Recent Walmart story an ass't principal of an elementary school, woman 50 yrs old in Georgia caught stealing about 1k worth of shit from SCO. Felony charge. And she got caught, can you imagine the ones who don't get caught? the $ amount per store has to be astronomical. If you're smooth and inconspicuous stealing via SCO is easy if done right. Which is wrong, obviously.

Which is why we need a way to view SCO on our devices like Walmart

TTOTM: Your gripe about how members of the cleaning crew chat on their phones while walking behind the floor cleaner (must be one of the most boring tasks ever) is duly noted. However, have you ever noticed how many TMs stand around chatting with each other, while on the clock, sometimes with their arms folded or leaning on their pallet jack or u-boat? That should tell you they've been standing there chatting for a while. If fact, I've seen you doing this yourself, talking about last night's game or whatever. Just sayin'.

TTOTM who walked away when this problem guest who always tries to pay with cash scanned his entire order and asked to be moved to pay cash, THANK YOU. I was told by a TL that we can ignore people who constantly try to pay cash at SCO. He had the opportunity to go to the open CL but always doesn’t. He got pissed and our SD basically told him tough shit, we have signs and you didn’t read them. We’re not helping you to avoid the line to pay cash

TTOTM: Look, I understand that everyone has their days, but I’m getting kind of tired of your constant mood swings at work. You know there’s an issue when there have been days I see you and your first response to me is either “out of my way”, or “fuck off”. I get that being trans is difficult and that your home life isn’t the best, but that doesn’t give you any right to speak to me or anyone else in the store that way. Also next time I try to be nice and talk to you and offer advice, don’t just write me off.

TTOTM wearing pajama bottoms: Well, that's what they looked like. I know dress code has been talked about lately and some changes are coming, but we've never been allowed to wear pants with a camo print. I did a double-take and yes, you were wearing a vest and a Target name tag, so I know you're a TM and you were on the clock. Even newbies have to conform on the basics, like jeans or khaki pants. Good grief.

TTOTL: Please don’t try to make me feel stupid. Yes I understand what you’re saying, i understand that I can’t leave self checkout when it’s busy. But when we’re dead and one of my coworkers is having a breakdown over her shitty raise and feeling bad about herself, of course I’m going to step aside to make her feel better. It’s called having a heart, you should give it a try sometime.
