Transferring departments

I am wanting to transfer departments and I was wanting to know how to go about it.

First off how do I find out that theres an opening in my store for a different department.
Second how should I go about it

Ask a leader.

Ask the ETL/TL of the area of the department you're interested in. Than talk to your own.

And HR will know if there are any openings in another area.
