Archived Vacation Time Accrued

So I have passed my one year mark in AP, working in a very high volume store. As I understood form the initial orientation video as a full time employee, I would supposedly be entitled to one week (40 hours) of vacation time.

When I went to check my accrued vacation hours, i'm at 20. Apparently, Assets Protection Team Members only start accruing vacation time after 6 months of working at Target. My personal opinion aside (because you can all guess what it probably is), I would just like to know: Is this the same for all full time employees or is this limited to AP, and why?

It's not unique to AP. My understanding is that you begin to accrue vacation time when you hit 1,000 hours worked (assuming you average at least 20 hours per week). So 6 months sounds about right.

This is the same for all TMs, not just "full time" ones. Vacation hours accrue at a specific rate per hour worked and are updated at each pay period.

I'm pretty sure I started accruing vacation at 6 months and not 1000 hours.

Okay. When It was explained to me I heard "for AP Team Members". I just wasn't sure if that meant it was exclusive or if it was blanket policy. Guess its blanket policy then. Thanks for the info
