I will be interviewing for this position soon.I was wondering if there is a late morning to evening shift? Most of what I've seen online is that the postion is either over night or way
early in the morning like around 4am.

We are a 4 am store. Backroom morning TMs start at 4 am. Backroom day TMs at my store typically have two shifts, although this has changed a lot recently. An "opening" shift for us starts at 7:30 am, with a "closing" shift ending at 8:30 pm. An opening shift used to start at 8:30 am and a closing shift ended at 9 pm, but that changed many months ago. We've also been experimenting with a "mid shift," which really just phases out the 7:30 am start for a 9-5:30, to help cover the CAFs on busy days. Basically, our BR day never knows when they're working 😉

Greetings and salutations.
I'm only familiar with 4AM stores and StalkerMistress pretty much covered that.

0400 - 1230
0930 - 1800
1800 - closing

1 or 2 TMs between 0930 - 1900 on weekends because CAFs are heavier.

Honestly, I think it depends on the store.

I work in a Super, where there are only 2 locations in the city.

Backroom Day current lineup.

TL 730am-4pm
TM 8am-4 or 4:30pm
TM #2 (if needed) as above
TM #3 11am-8pm
TM#4 as above
TM#5 4pm-1030pm

It used to be 2 closers instead of mids. It was changed because some of the TM were unable to get the backroom clean on a constant basis. It caused some minor problems for Overnight. More time used by ON to clean up after Dayside, meant less time for them to do their Autofills.

I used to be the primary closer. I can definitely say I didn't like hearing this & that why I couldn't get the areas clean amongst the other duties.

I appreciate the replies. The reason I asked is because I cannot work overnight shifts or shifts that start pre 6:30am.

It depends on whether the position is for backroom day (during open hours) or overnight/early AM backroom. If it's backroom day, then you're in luck. If not, then the shifts would start at whatever time your store receives trucks.

Only thing I don't like about my shift is how the TL works past schedule to tell me what I already know. Go home! We're always over on payroll.
