TSS is considered a lower role and they are limited in scope. They lack a lot of the training and permissions granted to APS/STSS (the DC equivalent of APS).

I thought they were in charge in checking the tills because I saw one TPS/TSS person opening and closing the drawers. He was fired for stealing the money.
AP is a workcenter (Assets Protection). TSS (Security Specialist) is a TM AP role. All of the other roles are considered PG45/TL or higher, like APS, APTL, etc. They're all AP.
