No matter what anyone says, per best practice you should be using EXF to fill the checklanes and non-planogrammed endcaps. Other areas I can see bosses being pissed, but as far as those two areas you should have no issue...well, as long as you're actually keying what can fit.

is the key. Making one little SNAFU in EXF can FUBAR the accumulator.

We do this after I have filled it with a stand alone ptm fill. An EXF will only fill what you tell it to fill. If the area has been treated as the MPG pog that it is, it will have been flexed and labels may have been removed. The ptm fill ensures that all d-codes and cfn's are being brought out of the backroom.
