Archived What's the oddest guest experience you've had or witnessed?

We recently had guest crazy pants in our store an hour past closing. After all was said and done, we realize she may have been having some kind of mental breakdown. She spent about 3 hours in the store, had TMs running and grabbing merchandise for her as she scoured and circled items on the ad. She ended up purchasing $1200 worth of stuff and only came in for ice cream..... that her husband/boyfriend sent her to get for their 4 year old's birthday party....that she missed! He came in looking for her. When I left that night around midnight, they were in the parking lot standing outside their vehicle with a bundle of helium balloons sitting on the ground, arguing. Very interesting evening! She even wanted one of the TMs to go out and pull her car up so he could load everything for her. She was shaking her keys at him as he backed up, hands in the air saying "no no no Mam I cannot do that." Wow.

A guy I went to high school with was arrested for doing the latter at a Target near my hometown. Never struck me as the type who would do that either. People are gross.
