I was just wondering how does ad setup go at other stores . I been doing softlines ad for pretty much 3 months straight . I’m not the team lead either for my area .

At my store we have one person who does all the endcap signing, then 2/3 people who come in 2 hours before the store opens for all of grocery/dairy frozen. Softlines has 4 or 5 people come in an hour before the store opens and Hardlines has one person come in 3 hours before and 2 come in 2 hours before.

I've been doing it for hardlines recently...although I'm supposed to be in training for endcaps. It seems to be a set group of people for the most part.

Yeah, I feel the same at my store. I’m there every Sunday and I’m almost always with the exact same people. Personally I like having the same people as you can actually become pretty close with them just standing around hanging signs for two hours with no guests or anything.

Wild it’s amazing how different things are at other stores . We normally have electronic , grocery ,Beauty , one hardliners. I do softlines by myself usually and we all come in 2 hrs before store opens .

We get a team lead + 3-4 people doing ad for the rest of the store, 4am shift.

The team is always different for us, however they always either have me or the other hardlines tm who is fast with ad working the shift.

5 People, 1 from market, 1 from softlines, 1 from hardlines, 2 from plano for a few hours.

Dumb question (as usual), but by setting ads do you just mean who sticks the red as sign things to the shelf spot? And I replacing/setting the bigger sale promotion signs in the aisles?

We had three people for the entire store last week, and that market ad was a monster! Hopefully this week won't be as rough.

It must suck to be the LOD... Seems like it is probably like standing at the door, to let TM's in for 3 hours straight.

Not really, most of us arrive within 10 minutes of 4, 5, and 6 respectfully, so the LOD just comes up from 3:50-4:10, 4:50-5:10, and 5:50-6:10
