I really hate this trend. If I have cash I have to go talk to somebody (and I don't want to do that.) If I have 10 items or more I have to go talk to somebody instead of checking myself out. We've had some complaints about this from guests too.
It's like they forget some people are peopled out...
The last time I did something like this to be helpful I got talked to and told not to do it anymore, to leave it to the TLs and ETLs.
We've had the same TLs for a month maybe so maybe that's why nothing's been done? But the same ETL for a bit longer. I don't get it myself.
The dumb part is that they still swap the cash out!
