Does anyone know if Pricing/Presentation TL will report to ETL salesfloor or ETL Logistics? In many Mid volumes that lone SF exec is now going to have the bulk of store's TLs report to them.
Gray, your position will be eliminated by attrition most likely. Your position won't be eliminated until you go somewhere else. Unless your store decides to be cutthroat about it.

The way the things are with the company. They may go cutthroat if attrition is just too slow.
Cutthroat would be the worst scenario, to be sure.

I'm still not quite sure what they're referring to as "attrition". Are they expecting me to quit? Or accept a lesser position? Honestly, the major problem I have with this restructuring is my pay. Do I have to accept a pay cut and be led by someone I once referred to as a peer? It's degrading.

Hello everyone, new poster and CTL here of an Org 1 store moving to Org 2. ULV store.
I have been told my position is being removed. We are over headcount, and are going from 12 TLs to 8.
I could not be less happy about this. Quick personal story: I worked my way up from Flow to CTL in a span of 2 years, and now hearing that all the hard work I've put in to make something of myself is all for naught is personally devastating.
Essentially, the writing is on the wall: 4 SrTLs, with one SrGSTL. They've completely removed the GSTL position in my store. I have no idea what to do next.
Org 3 is entitled to 8 TL. My store will be 2 GSTL, 1 Flow/BR/Instocks, 1 PA/Plano, and 4 "Salesfloor"
It makes sense they are keeping all the SFTL because they'll most likely need to be or become SrTLs in order to run LOD shifts since there will be an ETL cut as well.
I don't understand how from Org Chart 2 to Org Chart 3 you gain 3 more sales floor TLs....
Why couldn't it be TWO sales floor TLs in org chart 2.....
What about ETL Food?? Where does he fit in on the org charts?

Actually, you only gain 2 more sales floor TLs. The third TL position is for a GSTL.
But if you think that's bad, take a look at the jump from Org 4 to Org 5! I'm assuming this has something to do with the Logistics process switching to overnight at the 49M mark? Seriously, though... 2 additional ETLs and 4 additional TLs.
I'd hate to be a store that's making 48 million...
As for Plano taking on adjacencies, I think this will be accomplished by moving SL Brand TM's to the Plano team and basically having them continue to set adjacencies. I was told that plano is allocated hours based on setting the entire Adjacency calender themselves, but if so then why has every store I've ever worked in had SF TL's and TM's setting salesplanners and adjacencies???? Free labor for Plano team!!!! I agree with moving this workload to the Plano TL, as it should eliminate several people ordering shelves for new sets not knowing they were ordered by 3 others. Now as to the SF TL headcounts, I see an opportunity for AE15 if salesplanners and adjacencies are moved to Presentation TL. Some of these cuts are actually needed and beneficial. People who are performing should not be concerned. Those who are not meeting their current core roles or are unable/unwilling to blend into their new core roles successfully will likely exit the company by September. Target changes all the time, being resilient and adaptable is a core leadership dimension, and you wonder why??? AE is why!!!! Roll with the punches or get the boot!!!
Based on has happen with ae14, it reminds me of this thread. Very sad event.

except that at least with AE10 the demoted specs got to keep their pay, not the team leaders that demote now sadly.
The thing that bugs me about AE10 is that I still get stuff addressed to the "Signing Specialist" or references to it in instructions, etc. If they wanted to take away specialists, then why do they keep using that title?

I believe all the hours from the adjacency calendar drop into Presentation automatically. The STL just always reallocates the hours into other workcenters depending on who is doing it what. It simply sounds like they will stop doing this, and leave all the hours in one place for one TL to handle.
Does anyone know how AE14 impacts super Targets? Are they still going to have ETL-SL ETL-HL, etc? Or are they seeing positions consolidated into one as well?

This has been my argument. How can plano have so many hours they can give up hours to pricing for instance, but HL gets 20 hours for 238 salesplans. Seems that plano has too many hours to begin with.
