After taking over the role of Receiver I have been having anxiety on my off days (Sat & Sun). Usually the backup receiver on Saturday calls me but he didn't this weekend and I'm stressed about it.
Also, how do I get demoted back to unimportant peon? I kind of hate being Receiver. It's too much responsibility (FOR THE SAME PAY) and not enough time to do all my tasks. I just want to go back to scanning RFID and building bikes, like I was doing before.

The fact that you take calls from your co-worker on your day off it’s detrimental to your psych. Please don’t do it anymore. Be home enjoy your family or a good tv show. I bet you no one in target is stressing about it. You get paid to work when you are there and not when you are off.
Your sanity it’s more important.
Talk to your Etl “ hey I’ve tried giving a chance to being a receiver however this is something that it’s affecting my mental health on my day off. The not knowing things will or not get done gives me anxiety before I can even get out the door. And since being a receiver it’s an expert position and was not incentivized I would like to go back to my previous role where I was thriving and my mental health wasn’t being affected.”

I’ve started keeping a loose plan for my days off, like watching a show I enjoy or doing something small outside. It helps distract my brain from cycling through work stuff.

When punching out twist your right ear and turn off the Target switch. Next time at the time clock when punching in, twist your ear and turn Target on.

My stress reliever was hiking various trails. Getting far enough of town that if my store tried to call me. I was either in no cell areas or couldn't reach the store within their desired timeframe.
