Archived Assest Protection & family team members in same store

I have a question.

My family member currently is, I believe, an asset protection specialist. They wears black coveralls and does security, thefts, etc. at Target

I am interested in working at Target. They stated that, since they are security, not only am I not allowed to work at the same Target as them, but I am not allowed to work in the same district as them.

Is this true?

I was told that people who were related couldn't work in the same store as AP but I've never heard about the same district.

Call HR at the store you'd like to work at and ask them.

i could maybe see the same store, but the same district? If it is true its stupid, As a TPS I can't do anything more or less for someone in a store sitting right next to mine then a store half way across the country. And it must depend on your STL/ETL-AP or DAPTL because we have had a TPS and her brother in electronics last year for awhile.

It is just the same store. I have seen plenty of people who were related at a all levels of AP with spouses and relatives in the same district. They will not allow it in the same store and will make one preson trasfer within the district if someone ends up in that situation.
