Can I Stretch My Thirty?

How flexible is my thirty-minute break?

What if I make it back to the time clock after 35 or 40 minutes? When I punch back in would the time clock accept it?

Does HR notice or care?

I've been overdoing my meals by 5-10 minutes for pretty much my entire Target career, only because I'm terrible at keeping track of time. If anyone cares, I guess I'm going to be the last to know.

We're forced to take a 45 min lunch. So on a 6 hr shift I'm getting paid 5:15 min.. how about just scheduling me for a 5 hr shift... LOL

When I show up early for my shift I don't punch in right away because I know that 4 hours and 59 minutes later I'm going to need that extra minute as I run to the time clock.

I had a 5 1/2 hour shift once and asked whether I could be punched in a 1/2 hour early and take a lunch.

They said they couldn't add hours.

6 - 1/2 = 5 1/2 you Math Major.

I took a lunch anyway.
