Archived CEO Visit?

At a visit recently we were asked :
“what do you do for us ?”
Most tm answered with title but the visitor wasn’t pleased.
What was the answer supposed to be ?
I thought of saying “Bring joy to the everyday lives of our guests.” But it sounds so insincere.
Do you Think he really wanted to hear us regurgitate that phrase ?

We had the Regional Senior VP walk into my store many years ago during my regular closing night. Nobody knew he was there until he walked out through the TSC and told the person at the desk there that he though everything was great and then walked out. I just got a walkie notice stating he had visited, just left and gave us a glowing report. Of course my STL still was trying to performance me out as I wouldn't drink the Target Kool-Aid even though I had the best closing shift and left the store the best shape it was in all week. Manage a great team, get great results, and they try to performance you out. The Target way.
