Chain of Custody - Salvage edition

What does that greenfield report mean exactly?
It's to track what percentage of Salvage is tied to the sweep pallet, presumably. Right now we only do this for CRC, which is already a pain and a huge time sink for the receiver. We have to make sure every item has a CRC sticker next to the UPC barcode (and print a replacement if they don't have both), and scan each item from the pallet into location on the Pallet ID barcode.
This takes an hour or so every couple of days, we were given no extra hours of payroll to do it, and I'm already overbooked on tasks. If they make us do salvage too.... well I guess I'll do it bc I'm a pushover 😞. But it's gonna stress me out even more, and make me think even harder about taking my skills to another company that might be less intense.

There are videos available to watch on Workbench. Search: chain of custody. Looks like it will be mostly pricing team impacted by this. TM scans each item as they add it to the pallet. IMPORTANTLY the sticker is not required to be scanned for regular salvage, and multiple quantities can be added (scan one & type in 12, instead of having to scan 12 times)

How will it work for pricing? They don't get ticked for salvage. My store also keys everything in for salvage. How will the system know if it was faked?

I think the point of this is that they cant fake it anymore. There was a big thing about not faking it a year or so ago but that lasted a little bit and presumably went back the norm. So unfortunately because nobody did it correct now you gotta do this

At one point, my sore was making the front-end team scan into their pallets until they kept fucking it up. They then tried having the FOS attendants scan the pallet in receiving when they take them back, but leads got mad with how much time it took them, so they stopped
