If you are supposed to be working in two different work centers can the computer schedule the two areas? Or, does someone have to go in manually to put you in a second work center?

Since cashier hours are now 4 - 5 hour shifts, I am working in two areas, but the secondary work center seems to give me more hours than the first work center......is there anything I can do to get more hours in the first work center and less in the second work center?

I'm frequently scheduled as cashier and Starbucks during the same shift. Rarely do I ever actually spend my full allotted time as a cashier, because it just gets busy enough that Starbucks has to call someone over anyway. Given the amount of hours that's usually split during that kind of shift, I honestly have no idea whether it's a human that schedules it, or if it's left to a computer. I do know it never happened until I was specifically asked whether I would do shifts like that.

I'd say just ask your higher-ups about it. Sometimes it's a matter of what area gets more payroll to work with versus what area actually needs more TMs at any given time.

Mytime doesn't schedule you automatically for two work centers in one day. If you have a secondary work center it will give you some shifts in one and some shifts in another but on separate days.

A human is writing your schedule that way. Find out who it is and ask them if you can spend more time in work center A than work center B.

Post above is spot on sometimes they do it because one work center has more hours than the other. One of our sl tls tried scheduling our beauty tm as beauty for 4 hours but using her all 8 hours in softlines.

I ratted her out so quick because she had the nerve to get mad I don't let her schedule her pets 40 hours and her other solid tms 16

When we had an ETL stealing us on days our TL and ETL was off we would go to the clock and change our workcenter. At least it got documented somewhere. It must have worked cause that stealing on their days off stopped cold..
