Archived CVS Pharmacy @ Target

I'm curious as to which stores roll out in February. Are any of you guys out there?

Any CVS/Target Technicians on? If so just wanted to hear your thoughts on the conference call from today.

Our conference call isn't until Friday. Did they say anything about payroll? I received our February hours today and they are much lower than this month. They also have our expected script counts lower than what they are, about 200 scripts per week. I assume that's how they are justifying the drop in hours. It seems they are messing with our hours. We were assured that wouldn't happen for a year. This certainly doesn't bode well for my CVS career. I'm not willing to endanger patient safety to save CVS some money!

Yes, when I said less scripts per week, I meant 200 less and not a total of 200 scripts. That would be a really slow pharmacy!

With the buyout, I ended up transferring my scrips to my nearby CVS. My total copay costs at Target was $16 for 3 prescriptions. At CVS, I am paying $30. Going to look for a better pharmacy.

Nothing about payroll. But Technicians can no longer do transfers, take refill info from doctors, mix reconstitutes or do compounds. We can not take a break either.. The phones will not shut off between 1:30 and 2:00 and the Pharmacists will have to take lunch when we are slow. They also want all waiting scripts to be completed at drop off then we can give a wait time. It seems like they really dont want us techs working and that this is how they dont have to pay us much. We are all so pissed and ready to look elsewhere, I wish I would have stayed with Target

I was at IHOP with some of my former co-workers and they said that CVS was also taking over the clinic. I don't remember seeing that on here.

Oh no! That's really bad news about the phones. It's the only 30 minutes of peace that we get in the pharmacy. We seriously can't mix, take refills, or compound?? And no breaks? That's so ridiculous! I don't know how long I'll stay with CVS.

My store is sharing the fridge with the pharmacy. They have their own shelf. However, in the 6 weeks I have been here, I have never seen a pharmacy person in the breakroom.

Saw the new uniforms yesterday. Wtf? The sizing is crazy off, and the teeny logo is a joke. I offered to hook my people up with some spares if they bought their own scrubs, but I didn't think it would be this easy...

On our conference call, they said nothing about the compounding, reconstituting, entering at drop off, or phone calls, just basically the lunches/breaks & phones not being shut off.

CVS does realize there's legal shit involved with breaks right

What's funny to me is that in all the training I've done so far for CVS they repeatedly reference the many times they have been forced to pay fines for violating laws such as hipaa. It seems they are ok with violating laws and just paying the fines.

I just finished the HR training and it seems way easier to term someone with CVS. People are probably scared to take breaks. They repeatedly reference us being at will employees that can be termed at any time. Great company!

Wow! They need to all get on the same page! Us Tech's have stopped doing all these things

Does your state require certification? I'm just wondering if that might be a reason for the discrepancy in tech roles.
