Did I miss my meal compliance?

Keep in mind I’m in CA so I have a fifth hour instead of sixth. A few days ago I was scheduled to work a shift in fulfillment from 2:30pm-10:30pm. However, I clocked in a minute early at 2:29pm because there was a batch that was in desperate need of picking. However, my TL told me that I needed to start my lunch by 7pm rather than 7:30pm if I were to do so. This is the part I’m not really understanding, but long story short I forget the instruction to clock out by 7pm and instead leave for lunch at 7:16pm.

P.S. Sorry I know this sounds really stupid but I’ve been racking this situation in my brain over the past few days and want to put it to rest already.

No you did not hit your 5th . If you were to clock out for lunch at 7:29 then you would have hit it . You are fine

You can also check the myTime app on your phone. It tells you the duration of your hours worked between punches. As long as your time is 4.99 or below, you’re fine. 5.00 is your fifth hour.
