If that ever happens again go to GS. They have a button on their register called "vending machine payout" or something like that and can get you your money back.

Its in one of the additional K buttons when you log in. Cant remember the exact one but if you play around with them you will see it.

i believe it's K5 - Functions then K4 - Pay Outs then K2 - Vending Payout

it's definitely under Functions though and I believe*** it can only be done at a Guest Service register

At our dc they replaced the traditional vending machines with a set up like the quickie store you get your food drink snack whatever out the cooler or off the shelf and use a self checkout kiosk to pay ... monitored by cameras ofcourse

We constantly have to call the vending company to get someone in to fill it. A lot of products are expired in our vending machines as well.

I’d rather just buy something from the checklanes. Half of the stuff in our vending machines are old and stale.

Our coke machine is like a casino. You play for a 50/50 chance of winning a drink you paid for.

Ours as well lol. The vendor doesn't stock them correctly. You may think you are getting a coke but then a fanta spits out lol.

Our vending machines are always well-stocked. The prices are a little more expensive than in the store though, which I was I almost always bring something from home.

The vending machines should all have a phone number on them to call. If they have an 800 number AND a local number call the local one first, they’re much more likely to resolve the issue. That’s how we request different drinks and snacks in ours 😁

Are those the same people who fix the credit card reader? I keep leaving notes bc ours is broken and the guy who refills the machine takes them down but doesn’t fix the reader

Ours is a third party vendor, which I believe most are. The guy comes in once a week to collect the money and refill the machines. Of course if there is a holiday he skips a week and comes in to empty machines 🙄

I've never seen that. We have slips attached to one of the vending machines. You fill it out with name, date, how much money you lost, and out of which machine. When the vendor comes in, they reimburse for any slips that have been submitted

Best practice you go to GS, we print a slip and give you money, then tape slip to machine, vendor reimburses the store. ASANTS though.

Our vending machines is horrible. Its always offline because it takes cards. Since its offline it wont take cash. When it's working it justs takes your money. Our drink machine takes our money too. We just leave our name and amount on the machine and hr reimburse us. Everyone just goes to the cooler and snack aisles. It is a lot cheaper.
