Yeah we have a lot of heavy online furniture sitting on the steal that no one buys and alot of steam mops and vacuums that no one buys. Everyone is buying baby stuff in our orders.

I finally found the INF report!!!

It was staring me in the face this whole time... Just download the main SFS weekly report and at the bottom of excel, click the "Fill It" tab. It will show detailed info about every item that was cancelled (including who did it).

Yeah I don't know how I feel about slapping a shipping label on an LG TV and calling it good...

Guest ordered two 32" tvs. I couldn't fathom sending them as is so I MacGyver'ed two 280 boxes, three sheets of bubble wrap on both short ends of each tv, detailed layering of air pillows, and secured it using handheld tap roller. Those tvs will survive the roughest of shipping. Told ETL-Log what I did and they said it's fine from now on to ship as is. As long as I have time to I will pack them in boxes. Don't care.

Why isn't there so much drama when an order has to be deleted due to the fact that the item isn't in the building?

I had 3 orders today that were ghosts. I check the spot on the salesfloor, the line, backroom, and guest service foreign before I tell an ETL that a FF order needs to be deleted. And another thing, why is it the end of the world if I delete it? I have never understood that. Well, that's not entirely true. I'm sure that scores are kept when it comes to FF and if so many orders are deleted, ETLs and the STL may have their yearly bonuses reduced due to bad scores regarding FF.

I hate FF and will not miss it. I hate being a personal shopper for lazy ass people. My backroom TL chews my ass off all the time about never getting back stock done. I wonder why? Pull CAF batches for 30 to 45 minutes, then waste 10 to 15 minutes on a FF order. When am I supposed to back stock? Where is the time?

I won't miss hearing "there Is one item in FF" on the walkie talkie.

No. The 1 in the first box of the FF menu does not mean there is one item that needs to be pulled. It means there is one order. Is it possible that said order might just contain only 1 item? Yes. However, you don't say "there is one item in FF".

There is one order in FF.

That's still a massive waste of time and supplies to do that. If best practice is to send it out via SIOC, it doesn't make sense to waste $10 in supplies when it's not our problem the condition the package arrives in.

Those TVs are already packaged to death in styrofoam. I had a huge 96" one delivered, and it came in its normal box and was fine.

My (two) damaged packages have been returned to my store via UPS after being delivered to the guest. I have to call CSC to confirm the return and then I have to process the item, either return to SF or defect. It most certainly is my problem if something I ship gets damaged. The TVs survive the trip (most of the time) in our trailers, and I believe that most other companies ship them in only their own box. I've yet to encounter it. As long as the guys at UPS don't stack it face down, it'll be fine.

MacGyvering boxes, I did that today. Two 278s to fit a baby carrier thing that I've canceled like 3 times because it wouldn't fit, even called CSC about it and it still comes up in my orders. I just shipped the stupid thing.

Last I checked you're supposed to reject those returns, they should go to the DC or whatever's on the shipping label for return. You only have to go through that process if your receiver erroneously accepts the return.

Yeah, that's what I thought. They bring them back to us, I don't know why. Our address somehow gets on the label.

Yeah UPS is supposed to send them to the return address on the shipping label, but that doesn't always happen.

However, the few times it happened to us, the CSC was able to handle it easily over the phone.

Surviving our truck deliveries is a moot point when they are bundled among other TV's by those giant bands or just bundled tightly in general on pallets. A tv getting damaging from sudden drops or ninety degree falls is something I've seen in store and personally been told. My $10 "waste" of supplies was for $360 worth of product; such a lose. The packaging may encourage that guest to buy another big ticket item again from us online and/or recommend to someone else. Both mean more sales but it's just my opinion.

I had 6 orders today.
6 TVs? Or just 6 SFS orders total?

There was an urgent Redwire message titled SPU and E/SFS orders delayed. But nobody had opened it yet and I didn't want my name attached to it so I didn't open it either.

Our orders appeared to be dropping at their usual pace.

Sorry, 6 SFS orders total. Yesterday I had 75. When I left we had maybe 12 for tomorrow.

Took the extra time today to replenish supplies, audit and make my supplies order. Then I spent the rest of my day trying to catch up electronics.

Wait you ordered them? BRTL takes care of ours. Where can I find the link to the order form?

You can get the order form from workbench by searching for "supplies auditing guide." But you can't actually order anything unless your ETL gives you access to SAP.

Those boxes are damn expensive...

If I get to do SFS on Thanksgiving/BF I will be a very happy camper. I was so jealous last year of the people who got to do FF the whole 8 hours.

Yep, just like @SFSFun said, my ETL gave me access to SAP and put me in charge or ordering supplies. It's kind of cool to have so much control but also a little worrying.

I spent nearly $1,500, and that's just to get me up to what the auditing guide recommended for 100 orders (within reason - I didn't order 8 rolls of bubble wrap). 4 pallets of boxes, 2 rolls of air pillows, 3 boxes of collates and a few other things. I need to sit down and go over it with someone, because if I follow the guide I've got another $2,000 worth of stuff to order.

That's pretty cool they let you do that. My ETL-LOG insists only TLs and above can do it and refuses to submit a mySupport about it just to try. Yet he always orders exactly what I ask for (without question) anyways.

2 rolls of air pillows
Just 2? We order way more at a time and keep a lot on hand.

All the fun of being a TL without the pay! ;)

Maybe I ordered 4 of those and 2 cases of WAT tape...I don't remember. I've got a decent surplus of them right now, but I will be ordering more. What's your order cap at right now? How much/often do you order supplies?

Omg my store is so far behind in ESFS orders this weekend x_x. .. it all started on Friday when the closer didn't show up. So we had 4 smart carts with stuff that still needed to be packed and 3 pick batches that still needed to be completed.

Then Saturday morning comes and we had like 31 pick batches plus the 3 from the night before and the 4 carts that still needed to be packed. We managed to get all that down to 20 pick batches x_x.

Then Sunday comes we picked all 20 batches from yesterday workload and packed that. Probably didn't finish until 3:00. Then after that we had like 34 pick batches for today. Idk how much they got done but it was only 2 people left after I left for the day x_x. ... we seriously need more people before they increase our max to 900 orders a day

In the past, I've ordered about every two weeks, even if it was just a few things. That was for 150 and then still for our current 100 orders.

But the Nov. 8 order cap increase is coming up fast, and our supplies have started arriving quicker, so I'm not yet sure how I'll do it going forward.

We have tons of everything for now, so I'll probably just wait and see what happens that first week and possibly order once a week if necessary.

Our ship from store team ran out of the paper you print the orders on (forgot what they are called). they ordered them 3 weeks ago but they still havent come in, so they have a paper cutter back there and some sort of sticky paper. haha and only one other store in our district does SFS and they ran out of them too, seems like they are on backorder and none are coming in. Hopefully they come in before the orders pick up
