The highest I've personally seen is in the upper 70's. I can't recall what it was mostly made up of.

The largest single SPU I've seen was 26 DPCI's, 32 eaches. However that was immediately followed by another SPU from the same person ordering another 12 DPCI's and I forget how many items.

Ship from store rolls out to my store next week I think. We're going to have an order cap of 25 for the first month, then it goes to 50, then 150 for a week, followed by 300 for black Friday.

I was told backroom is going to mostly be responsible for SFS while our cap is low. More responsibility without more hours or pay.

Without at least one extra person scheduled, that's gonna be rough. SFS needs to have a dedicated team (even if it's just one or two people) to make it work properly. That being said, 25 orders should only take at most an hour to pick and around the same time to pack so it could be done by one person between the "Due Today" cutoff time and the "Pack By" deadline if they are left alone to do it.

There are very specific hours allotted for SFS, especially for new stores. Even if your TL has the backroom handle it, there will still be increased hours.

Today was a fun day at work... no orders due to mantiance.. so i got to learn in stocks process... some of items were ones I couldn't find on Sunday for sfs...also have any of u guys noticed a glitch with RTS and STS orders?.... on Friday I did a hole flat and cart of orders. Then Saturday and Sunday I opened and did the RTS. Then after we finshed the orders that day I decided to clean the SPU closet.... i had a whole cart full of orders that were canceled but never dropped in RTS.... 90% of them were STS orders... so idk if it's a glitch in the system or what...I would show pic but I don't want to get caught

Are you talking about orders that still come up in order inquiry even though they are weeks old? Or orders that are sitting in hold locations but don't come up in order inquiry at all?

That first situation happens occasionally, and I call CSC with the order numbers. They force them to drop into RTS in about a week.

The second situation, I notice pretty frequently but I assumed it was other SFS TMs just keying in the items in RTS without actually scanning anything or physically removing anything from hold. The other TMs don't like to put the order labels on items, so it's not always clear if it's happening with STS or SPU orders.

The second situation... i thought people were just keying stuff in as well... but last weekend proved that theory wrong... i watched the RTS all day Friday, Saturday morning, and all day Sunday.... none of the STS orders dropped in RTS but when I did order inquiry on Sunday... it said order didn't exist anymore

Do you think we'll actually be getting the 750 a day? Seems like so many stores are doing it there can't possibly that much demand, can there?
I think it's possible we will see it, but whether or not we fulfill them all is entirely different. My team has been repeatedly trying to zero out items we've verified as not here but it's not workin.

And I hate it when STS fails to RTS. I cleaned our storage space out the other day because it was overflowing with unclaimed shit. Felt bad though, a guest actually showed up for one of the items three weeks later.

Yeah they are making zero out items as well.. Also they are making us use the RFID scanner when we can't find any RFID items x_x...... ill admit it works but it's time consuming ... now it takes us about 40 mins a batch

Q4 is insane for sales, doubly so if you are able to do it from home which is where SFS kicks into overdrive. I think that very, very few stores will remain green in SFS during the holiday season.

Online sales last Q4 were up 34% over the year before and I wouldn't be surprised if that happens this year too.

Target has effectively increased by around two thirds the capacity that stores can handle. Existing stores were mostly at 300 max last year (with 1 or 2 districts testing 500 max) and they are mostly all going up to 750. New stores are also being added (no clue how many) and they will be at a max of 300.

All of that added capacity seems like overkill but I get the feeling that a lot of orders last year took longer than expected to fulfill (I packed plenty that had dates on the collate from days or even weeks prior), so this should help get them out quicker.

My prediction is that we will be seeing 750 or damn close to it for a few weeks and then it will drop rapidly in December since we will be caught up from Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday.

So with this going up to 750 were getting another station. If after the holidays they lower the cap will we lose the second station? Has this happened to anyone?

You're getting a mini station and a cheap folding table. Our instructions were to take down the shelves above our current packing station because the new mini station has space for that. That makes it sound like it's going to be a permanent addition.

Yea our sft built it today so I finally saw it. We thought we were getting a full station. I hope we don't have to take shelves off since the mini station will be about 15 feet away from main station.
