Got an email today regarding holida pay that goes like this:
What’s Changing:
Beginning with the 2026 Target-observed Memorial Day holiday, team members eligible for the National Holiday Plan will transition from an 8-week lookback calculation to a flat rate holiday pay amount of 6, 8, 10, or 12 hours. This change provides a more consistent and predictable Holiday Pay experience for Team Members with non-variable schedules.
Details:
• Holiday pay flat rate is based on your Workday Hours (your regularly scheduled shift) at the time of the holiday.
• This change is effective May 25 and going forward. There will be no retroactive adjustments to prior holidays.
• No action is required from you.
Does this means I won't get paid time and half on Monday anymore (I work that day) and so on for any other worked holidays and it will just be a flat rate or am I understanding it wrong?

I would think this would only apply for those that get holiday pay even if not working on that holiday, i.e for TLs (PG45) and above.

Time and a half would still apply to time and a half holidays for us lowly peons (PG35) that only get Thanksgiving and Xmas as paid holidays.
