How often does everyone's DTL visit? Mine is in (officially) almost every other week. Even when he's not working, he'll still do informal visits with our leadership team every so often. On top of that, he lives in the area so when he wants to shop at Spot, he comes to my store.

Thankfully not very often. I would say maybe once a quarter.

When he does show up, however, the same things happen that I can imagine happen at every store that is about to get a visit. Panic, nervousness, sweeping things under the rug. We wait with bated breath until he arrives and the gladhanding and ass-kissing begins.

This reminds me, right after my recent Steritech visit I saw our Steritech guy come and shop PFresh/Market. I took it as a good sign.

I haven't seen them in quite some time...months. The one prior to this one...was at the store at least once a week.

For a while it was once a month or so but lately it's been twice a month. I think BTS results have brought our DTL in a little more often. Still haven't gotten a TL chat session with the DTL yet...:-/

Usually whenever we are doing really poorly on REDcards. I remember hearing about one poor store that got a visit at midnight on BlackThanksFriday because they didn't reach their goal for Thursday/Thanksgiving last year.

I've only seen him in once, but I know he visits more frequently. I would guess a couple times a month.

We just got done with a bunch of "jet visits" so he was in on those. And anytime we have a major ETL changes he will come in.. Or when things tank badly or go great all of a sudden.. We are killing conversion so I expect a visit from him soon.. To find out how we are doing it..

And its the influx of college kids and new employees and bonus payouts to a major employer in my area.. We go through this every year then drought until black Friday.
