I asked my ETL HR (she's brand new) about switching to SFS during the Holiday season and she said that I can't just switch temporarily during the Holidays, and I would have to do a permanent switch.
She then told me that if I wanted to do a few shifts but still work primarily in soft lines I could, but then when I told her that I would be okay with that as well, she immediately flipped on me and said I would have to talk to my ETL before doing that and she still wasn't sure.
(My mistake was telling her one of the reasons I wanted out of SL was I preferred not to work a bunch of mids, she kind of went off after that).
How do I approach her and my leader so that they allow me to have SFS as a secondary work center, anyone asked something like this before?
Also, is SFS the same pay grade as Softlines?
