How's your OPU remodel coming along?

For stores that are condensing CB1/Trendspot. How's it going so far?

Doesn't seem too bad although CB1 shrank more than I thought it would. I'm a little hesitant to recycle our overhead frames but I really don't have the space to keep them anyways.

Ours hasnt even been started on yet, besides putting tape down where itll eventually go in RTW. We have a photo lab still, and everyone thought they'd put it there but no let's make it more difficult and stash stuff in a corner away from GS.

Likely a store already Slated for a remodel then and they are just waiting to take it out. Most stores that aren’t getting a remodel have already gotten rid on photo.

Our regular OPU space is done, in place where photo used to be. The temporary OPU space has been taped off in RTW and the PML is starting tomorrow to build it. We're supposed to be done this week with it.

Oh I hope that's the case. We've got an integrated GS desk and people go up to photo all the time thinking its GS, since it's a separate desk with the OPU sign/holdspace to the side. Rumors have it if we ever get a remodel theyll put GS back over there and save everyone the headache lol.

A store near me got a remodel and got rid of their IGS. I believe they’re phasing them out as there’s only like 100 left

Yep we are about to take over the STL office AGAIN we got sent 10 green racks and we had space for all of two of them when they took photo out of GS. We don't have anywhere else to put them. We could put two in the conference room but we need bulk space as well and we have NONE. We are trying to convince those that supposedly know that we could build some gondolas in the one car corral(extra cart space) and use that but nothing has been approved.

Swim is currently Wondershop and I think with our layout what a lot of you guys are talking about doesn't work for us. I am in a wrap around store so we are fucked with space.

There will be no registers in the area so those that want to cancel and ring up POS won't be able to although I guess we could use my check out device for that and for a few non cash sales. The big one though will be about 20% who pickup also want to do a return or pay a bill and that will mean sending them to a separate area and separate line.

it’s just hold space. you leave the service desk to gather the order and then bring it back. the guest doesn’t follow you over there, and you won’t have people specifically stationed there.

They built ours today and WOW its huge! Its bigger than our usual hold space. I've convinced everyone itll be perfect DU and bulky item space for us.
