Classic. Our HR ETL was as dumb as a box of rocks. The HR TM had to write the schedule every week. She did a good job of sitting in her office.

I could come up with a whole bunch of reasons not to 'trust' HR.
This isn't one of them.
One person stealing gift cards has nothing to do with the job itself or even Target as a company.

That said, in general, unless it is something that for the benefit of the company don't count on HR.

I’m sorry you had an awful person in HR.

But please do not lump all of us in with that cretin. Some of us care about doing a good job and actually trying to help our Team as much as possible.

I see a lot of bitterness towards HR on this thread. I at least really try to be there for my team and help them whenever I can. If you had bad HR people at your store, I’m sorry. But please don’t put us all into one box.

HR tms are a revolving door. The HR TL/ETL here must be awful because I never see anyone working under her last.

Right now we have some kind of floor TM doing HR TM duties most of the time, and other ETLs doing HR work as needed

I somehow missed this post but yes I know, just a habit of mine. And truth be known, where there is HR there are ladies and "HR lady" does roll off the tongue better than "HR, m'lady"
