I would LOVE not having to set up the new releases of Entertainment every week. We only really run Entertainment if it's pulls, new releases, and maybe to zone it if there's nothing left. We only have an actual Entertainment person scheduled on Revision dates.
Might want to escalate that if the store truly doesn't have a mobile POA. However, if you guys so much as have an electronics plus mobile role and a POA system somewhere, they're supposed to be using it for Consumer since they have a contract with Spot for activations and support. So now consumer is letting guests schedule appointments with our “mobile specialists” at our store...where we don’t even do phone activations at all. Had one show me the email from consumer with an appointment time and everything.

This is the most aggravating thing for me. We do our own phone activations but hate it. Takes an hour to help an old man figure out a phone for a very small sale. When we coulda sold a few iPads or tvs in that time. Then when consumer cellular schedules appts when our tech is on lunch. So stupid!!! We refuse to train more to activate phones because we don’t want everyone doing that and nothing else getting sold. So the old people get pissed and we don’t care. Lol. I’m 52 so I can refer to them as old.So now consumer is letting guests schedule appointments with our “mobile specialists” at our store...where we don’t even do phone activations at all. Style team should be backing you up.Activating phones has been killing me, lately, with how slow our mobile POA has been and how often I'm spent spent on hold ( an hour! ) with Consumer Cellular. With another guest, I had to bear the brunt of "Consumer Cellular told me a different price over the phone." And this was after his AARP discount had been applied. TLDR I don't mind activating phones, but it really stinks when I'm doing electronics and all that entails and all of ZD3 while three guests hover in line and the only person on-call to answer back-up is the LOD and grocery. Love ye old skeleton crew ...

Their etl started covering breaks in electronics. The style tl’s got a wake up call at my store.heard that & style team including leads silently rioted & said until the ETL offers support they won’t

It used to be only specialty because of the 50 cents raise but I think that's not a problem anymore.I'd never heard this, usually it's my closing TL or grocery who has to stop by and try to help. I wonder why they haven't implemented that yet in our stores, is that relatively new?
so i dug around for some tea about the etl specialty
he was indeed fired, but no one is willing to spill it
the few drops i got were from ap and some leads confirming he was fired and the etl ge saying it was really bad
whatever he was fired for was bad enough that he was fired mid vacation. he was on a 2 week vacation and was fired 1 week into his vacation. his office is already cleaned out as well.
we are all thirsty for this tea
in the meantime, does anyone know whos the "lead" while theres no etl?
Style etl oversees tech. Starting last month a style tl oversees tech in etl absence. Style tl responds to backups when entertainment not scheduled.I'd never heard this, usually it's my closing TL or grocery who has to stop by and try to help. It should be in the Modernization rollout guide or the electronics page that talks about the department "vision" if I remember correctly.where can i find the workbench article that says elec doesnt own entertainment? or a pic if someone has it
closing tl is challenging me to prove elec doesnt own entertainment
Also in every addendum Entertainment is under GMIt should be in the Modernization rollout guide or the electronics page that talks about the department "vision" if I remember correctly.
If you can't find it under the electronics section of workbench, just do a search for "electronics modernization" or similar and it should come up if it still exists.
First clue is that all entertainment workload is under GM, not tech. Pogs, price change, etc is all listed in GM.where can i find the workbench article that says elec doesnt own entertainment? or a pic if someone has it
