Looking to reapply, what info is shared between stores?

Former TM here. I was terminated for something I did not do simply because my Store Director was racist and also preferred to believe lies that he was being fed. These lies of all people came from an immature high school gal who worked with me at the time.

I filed a claim against my Store Director with the ethics hot line. Whom in turn stated that it is up to the individual stores to determine if they will rehire me based on information provided.

That being said, for you HR people on here, what exactly is shared between stores? Also, if I gained more years of experience between my termination date and the time of reapplying, and I apply for an ETL role, can stores determine not to hire me based off the false claims my previous Store Director made?

Why would we have thought to go to AP about a problem with our TL? He wasn't stealing anything or touching anyone inappropriately. (Well, there were rumors that he was having an affair with a TM under his supervision, but no one had anything remotely resembling proof. And as far as I know, none of us reported it.)
For being harassed. Affairs aren’t hurting anyone. Harassing someone is illegal and definitely a job for AP!

As long as AP is actually in the building. From what I hear on here and reddit, my store wasn't the only one with AP missing altogether multiple times.

I don't know - just don't see our AP being in a position to take action on this. The TL was sneaky and subtle about it; he's really good at gaslighting and always had an *explanation* that sounded plausible. Plus, he delivered really good metrics and had a "good ol' boy" relationship with his ETL.
After all was said and done, I could see that our meeting with the SD was never going to produce good results. I went along with it because I thought we had a critical mass of TMs who were all experiencing the same difficulties, but I regretted it, just like the others did.
As for "affairs aren't hurting anyone" - it's expressly against company policy for an affair to take place between a TM and a TL who supervises that TM. And, depending on how they turn out, they can hurt a lot of people, and not just the participants' families. The damage can extend into the work place; I've seen it happen in another job, even though I wasn't directly effected.

Who says I'm looking for attention?
The person who is constantly poking the bear to get attention, as usual.😂 Nearly everyone asking for advice eventually gets the same type of comment. Consider the source, put him on ignore, and enjoy your day. Your blood pressure will thank you for it. 😁

Do you know how long the norm is to get to my next interview? I had my recruiter interview. It's been a week and I haven't heard back. Should I throw in the towel and find another role to apply to?
I feel like by now you should have heard from the recruiter .
I suggest you call or send a thank you email to the recruiter and that you are looking forward next steps and see what he/she says.

Dating within a store depends on the store. We have gf/bf and husband/wife working on the same teams. With one being the leader over the other. Not a big deal. The electronics department is the only department they wouldn’t allow it. The reason for no dating is not the drama. It’s because of theft. Don’t you know, …..Target loves drama!!

Isn't that specifically against the rules in the TM handbook? There was a TM at my store who transferred out because of a relationship with their TL. If they're on different teams or at the same level, that's different.
