Is this the case for TLs as well? I made a topic a couple of weeks ago about a TL in my store who was miserable, so miserable that she up and quit after months of abuse.
Spot's management structure and culture tends to trickle down to affect the TLs and eventually the TMs in a lot of cases. The worse the culture becomes at the ETL level, the more likely it is to affect the quality of life for TLs and likewise for the TLs to the TMs.
That said, in my opinion, the one level of separation that TLs have from salaried leadership does help allow the TL culture to be healthier than that of the ETLs in some cases, but not all. Anyone looking to move up at Spot will be more exposed to the leadership (cult)ure.
Yes. It's miserable to be a TL these days. Consistently given unrealistic expectations, insufficient resources to get the job done, and nothing but critical feedback.
