New Specialty Sales TL

Hi!

I’m starting as a re-hired Style TL next week. It’s been about 6 years since I left (former A&A TL)

So basically the same job—I miss every other weekend and one close per week.

I wanted to ask a couple questions on what to (realistically) expect.

Do we still get only one close per week? Or does the new Closing TL position mean I wont have to close as often?

Are all TL’s key carriers now? I’ve heard of some Style TL’s doing overnights once in awhile now. Is that true too?

For reference, my new store has like over 20 TL’s and I think 12+ ETL’s. I’m pretty sure it’s the highest volume store in my metro.

I’m also understanding I am responsible for all of Style while the other SSTL’s will see Ulta and Home/Electronics. Years ago, I split A&A with another Style TL. Not a huge deal, just curious.

Is there anything else I should know?

with closing leaders you shouldn’t have to close but that depends on your SD.
Yes all leaders have keys ( minus Offsite’s Tl they only have offsite keys)
You might have to do overnight if you have a floor set that requires to be done before door open such as Designer release etc.
As for owning only A&A that includes the push now, inbound use to own it but if you are going where I think you are going then you would own the breakout as well as the push and there’s at least 2 more leaders for style A&A

You will probably have to close one night as they recently started having most leaders close again after a few years of having only a Closing manager. They don't want leaders closing alone anymore is what I was told.

Can't really help with the rest as my store is much smaller than yours. We have only one SSTL.
